Noi VIRTUS FANS siamo il gruppo ultras organizzato che segue e sostiene la VIRTUS VECOMP VERONA, terza squadra calcistica cittadina, che nella stagione 2013-14 giocherà in Lega Pro Seconda Divisione essendosi aggiudicata la vittoria dei play off di Serie D nella stagione 2012-13.
La Virtus Verona, nata nel 1921, è la squadra del quartiere Borgo Venezia, nella zona est di Verona.
I Virtus Fans nascono nel 2006 in Borgo Santa Croce, detto in gergo Borgo Ciodo, piccolo sobborgo popolare del più grande Borgo Venezia. L'amicizia, l'aggregazione, la passione per la Virtus, per il calcio vero e popolare, l'antirazzismo e l'antifascismo militante sono i punti fermi del nostro gruppo.
In una città nella quale la discriminazione, l'odio per il diverso, gli sgomberi e la repressione la fanno da padroni, noi Virtus Fans siamo, insieme ad altre realtà cittadine, la dimostrazione che l'altra Verona esiste e resiste: la Verona antirazzista, la Verona antifascista, la Verona Medaglia d'Oro della Resistenza.
Tutto il nostro entusiasmo lo portiamo ogni domenica con noi in gradinata ed il resto della settimana nelle strade della nostra città e ovunque andiamo !!!
We are the VIRTUS FANS, the official ultras crew following the VIRTUS VECOMP VERONA a small football team that will play in the next season 2013-14 in Lega Pro Seconda Divisione (4th division) having won the play off of the 5th division (Serie D) in the season 2012-13.
Virtus Verona, born in 1921, is the team of the Borgo Venezia district in the east end side of Verona town. It's the third football team of the town.
Virtus Fans born in the 2006 in Borgo Santa Croce (Borgo Ciodo in our local slang), a subdistrict of the biggest Borgo Venezia.
The friendship, the union, the love for the Virtus, the passion for the real popular football, the antiracism and the antifascism are the basic principles of our group. In a town really known to be racist and fascist, the Virtus Fans are really active in the antiracist and antifascist local scene.
Every sunday we bring all our enthusiasm with us on our football terraces and on the street during the week: From the terraces to the streets against every discrimination.
